A simple and configurable vending machine resource for FiveM.

**GScripts Vending Machine** allows players to purchase items from the vending machine props already placed around GTA V. Each machine profile can have its own products, prices, menu title, and prop models.

The resource is designed for servers that want a clean vending interaction without unnecessary business systems, databases, or complicated setup.

Configuration

Machine types are configured separately. Every profile can have its own models, menu title, products, and prices.

Server owners can:

* Add or remove products
* Use items already registered in their inventory
* Change product names and prices
* Disable individual products
* Create new machine profiles
* Add default or custom prop models
* Change interaction and prompt distances
* Change the interaction key
* Change prompt text, position, size, and color
* Select 3D text, ox_target, or qb-target
* Change purchase and machine-lock timings
* Select the retro or clean menu theme
* Move the menu between four screen positions

Interaction

The resource includes three interaction methods:

* Built-in 3D text with a configurable key
* ox_target
* qb-target

When automatic mode is enabled, the resource looks for ox_target first, followed by qb-target. If neither target resource is running, it falls back to the included 3D text interaction.

Both the prompt distance and the actual interaction distance are configurable. This allows players to notice a vending machine from farther away while still requiring them to stand close enough to use it.

Interface

Two menu styles are included:

* **Retro** – a nostalgic GTA-inspired alternative
* **Clean** – the default neutral style for modern servers

The menu can be placed in any of four screen positions.

Players can use the mouse or keyboard to navigate the menu. It supports the arrow keys, Enter, Escape, Backspace, and right-click closing.

Machine Profiles

Drinks, snacks, and coffee use separate profiles by default.

This means that a coffee machine can offer only coffee products while a soda machine beside it displays a completely different catalog.

Server owners can edit the included profiles or create additional machine types with their own models and products.

Compatibility

The initial runtime testing was completed with ESX and ox_inventory.

The included QBCore adapters have been implemented against their documented APIs but have not yet completed full runtime testing on a QBCore server.

qb-inventory requires the QBCore framework adapter. Target resources are optional because the resource includes its own 3D text interaction.

Performance can vary depending on the server configuration, installed resources, and selected interaction method.

Installation

1. Download gs_vending.
2. Place the `gs_vending` folder inside your resources directory.
3. Confirm that every enabled product exists in your inventory.
4. Configure the framework, inventory, interaction method, products, and machine profiles.
5. Add `ensure gs_vending` to `server.cfg`.
6. Restart the server.

Make sure the selected framework and inventory resources start before `gs_vending`.
